Setup up your build environment

A word of caution before we get started. Under no circumstances should you build any RPMs as the root user. This doesn't just apply to Mumble RPMs, but any RPMs. Doing so, presents the real possibility that a packaging bug will damage or corrupt your operating system. Please always build RPMs as a non-privileged user.

If you do not already have an rpmbuild environment, follow these steps.

STEP 1. Install the required packages (as root):

STEP 2. Create the build directories by running (as your normal user): This creates the following directory structure in your homespace:

STEP 3. A few of the games require dependencies which are located in the RPMFusion repository. If you have not done so already, you may wish to add the RPMFusion repository to your system. Instructions can be found on the RPMFusion Website

STEP 4. Now choose your game from the menu on left and continue with the instructions there.
